2 years of Devro & SARIA

Happy SARIAnniversary to Devro!
Devro has been an official part of the SARIA Group since April 14, 2023. During the past two years the company has been fully incorporated into the Group and has continued to develop steadily.
 
As one of the world’s leading experts in the production of edible collagen-based films, coatings and casings for food, Devro has since complemented SARIA’s product portfolio. Prior to the acquisition of Devro, SARIA had already held a strong market position in the food sector for many years with its business unit Van Hessen, one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of natural casings. As both Devro and Van Hessen offer their quality products to the sausage-producing food industry, customers now have access to a much broader product portfolio. This strengthens the market position and competitive edge of both companies, expands their opportunities and underscores their commitment to providing comprehensive solutions in the long term.
 
Devro has continued to develop since its incorporation into the SARIA Group. In the last two years, new products have been introduced to the market. Investments have also been made. For example, an impressive capacity expansion is currently underway at the Devro site in Nantong (China) to expand production. The project is scheduled for completion this year.
